Role Overview The Store Keeper manages all project materials at site — receiving deliveries against purchase orders, issuing material against indents, maintaining Excel stock records, and flagging shortages before they hold up work. Reports to the Site Engineer and works with procurement, electricians and vendors. Suits someone organised and dependable, comfortable on a laptop and with physical stock at a construction site.

Responsibilities

- Receive materials against purchase orders; check quantity, quality and delivery challans/invoices before acceptance
- Issue materials to site engineers and electricians against indents; maintain issue registers
- Maintain stock registers and daily/weekly stock reports in Excel (GRN, issue, balance, consumption)
- Keep the store organised — cables, conduits, switchgear, consumables and tools stored by category and clearly labelled




- Track minimum stock levels and flag reorder requirements to the site engineer / procurement
- Conduct periodic physical stock verification and reconcile against records
- Coordinate with vendors and transporters for deliveries and returns
- Maintain tool and equipment issue/return records

Requirements

- Must be comfortable using a laptop daily
- Working knowledge of MS Excel — data entry, basic formulas (SUM, lookup), sorting/filtering, and preparing simple stock reports
- Able to read delivery challans, invoices and basic material lists
- Familiarity with electrical materials (cables, MCBs, conduits, panels) is an advantage
- Kannada and basic English/Hindi; 10th/12th pass or ITI/Diploma
- Honest, organised and attentive to detail

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
