Job Summary

We are looking for a courteous, well-groomed, and customer-focused Waiter to join our restaurant team. The candidate will be responsible for providing excellent guest service, taking food and beverage orders, serving meals efficiently, and ensuring a pleasant dining experience for every guest.

Key Responsibilities

- Welcome guests warmly and escort them to their tables as required.
- Present menus, explain dishes, and recommend food and beverage items.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders and communicate them to the kitchen and bar.
- Serve food and beverages promptly, following restaurant service standards.
- Ensure tables are properly set, clean, and ready for service.
- Maintain high standards of personal grooming, hygiene, and professional conduct.
- Check on guests during their meals to ensure satisfaction and address their requirements.
- Handle guest complaints politely and report issues to the restaurant supervisor.
- Coordinate with kitchen staff, bartenders, and other service team members to ensure smooth operations.
- Present bills, process payments, and ensure billing accuracy when required.
- Clear tables and maintain cleanliness in the dining area throughout the shift.
- Follow food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures.
- Assist with opening and closing duties, stock replenishment, and restaurant setup.




- Participate in briefings, training sessions, and team meetings.
- Follow restaurant policies and maintain a professional attitude at all times.

Skills and Qualifications
- Previous experience as a waiter or in food and beverage service is preferred.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Pleasant personality with a positive and service-oriented attitude.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
- Knowledge of menu items, food ingredients, and basic service etiquette.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Positive personal hygiene and grooming standards.
- Basic billing and point-of-sale (POS) system knowledge is an advantage.
- Willingness to work flexible shifts, weekends, and holidays.

Educational Qualification
- Minimum qualification: 10th or 12th pass preferred.
- Hospitality or food and beverage service training will be an added advantage.
