Role: Snr. IT Manager

Location: Auramah Valley, Shimla

Department: Administration / Operations

Reporting To: Operations Head

Job Summary The IT Manager will be responsible for managing the complete IT infrastructure of Auramah Valley, Shimla, while also providing technical support to residents and staff. The role involves ensuring smooth functioning of all IT systems, equipment, networks, and digital services, along with handling resident IT-related queries in a professional and service-oriented manner.

Experience

- 5-7 years of experience in IT infrastructure management
- Experience in hospitality, residential communities, resorts, or large campuses will be an advantage
- Experience in resident support/service IT roles preferred

Key Responsibilities IT Infrastructure & Systems Management

- Manage and maintain all IT equipment including computers, laptops, printers, servers, routers, switches, CCTV systems, biometric devices, and networking hardware.
- Oversee internet connectivity, Wi-Fi networks, LAN/WAN systems, and server infrastructure across the property.
- Ensure smooth functioning of software systems including PMS, billing systems, access control systems, and internal applications.
- Monitor system performance, data security, backups, and disaster recovery plans.
- Coordinate with external IT vendors, service providers, and AMC partners.

Resident & Staff IT Support

- Handle IT-related queries and complaints from residents promptly and professionally.
- Provide technical assistance for internet issues, device connectivity, system access, and digital services.
- Support residents with smart systems, digital access systems, and in-room technology (if applicable).
- Train staff on usage of IT systems, software, and digital tools.
- Maintain a helpdesk/log system for IT issues and resolutions.

Security & Data Protection





- Ensure cybersecurity protocols, firewall management, antivirus protection, and data privacy compliance.
- Control access rights, system permissions, and user authentication.
- Protect sensitive organizational and resident data.

IT Planning & Development

- Plan IT upgrades, system improvements, and digital transformation initiatives.
- Budgeting for IT procurement, upgrades, and maintenance.
- Evaluate new technologies to improve resident experience and operational efficiency.

Documentation & Asset Management

- Maintain complete IT asset inventory and licensing records.
- Maintain documentation for system architecture, IT processes, and policies.
- Prepare regular IT performance and incident reports.
- Ensure proper recordkeeping and audit readiness.

Qualifications

- Bachelors degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field
- Certifications in Networking, Hardware, or Systems Administration (preferred)

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
