Role Description The Sr.

Design

Engineer HVAC role is a full-time, on-site position based in Mumbai. The individual in this role will be responsible for designing HVAC systems for pharmaceutical clean rooms and related facilities, including load calculations, equipment selection, ducting and piping layouts, and integration with MEP and IBMS solutions. Day-to-day tasks include preparing detailed design drawings and specifications, coordinating with project teams and suppliers, reviewing and optimizing designs for energy efficiency and regulatory compliance,



and supporting installation and commissioning activities.

The role also involves troubleshooting design-related issues, ensuring adherence to industry standards and GMP guidelines, and collaborating with cross-functional engineering teams to deliver high-quality turnkey solutions.

Qualifications

- Robust foundation in Design Engineering and Product Design, with experience in HVAC system design for industrial or pharmaceutical environments.
- Solid Mechanical Engineering skills, including heat load calculations, fluid dynamics, and knowledge of HVAC equipment and components.
- Proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools for creating detailed HVAC layouts, schematics, and construction drawings.
- Basic understanding of Electrical Engineering principles relevant to HVAC systems, including power requirements and control interfaces.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
- Experience with clean room or controlled environment projects and familiarity with relevant standards and regulatory requirements.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work on-site in Mumbai, collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, and manage multiple projects and deadlines.
