Job Overview





We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Sr. Associate – Inventory Management to manage inventory planning, stock monitoring, reconciliation, and reporting activities. The role involves maintaining optimal inventory levels, ensuring stock accuracy, identifying inventory risks, and coordinating with cross-functional teams to support business and operational requirements. The ideal candidate should have strong analytical skills, proficiency in MS Excel, and experience in inventory management, stock control, or supply chain operations, preferably in a retail or e-commerce environment.

Key Responsibilities

1. Inventory Monitoring & Control

- Monitor inventory levels to ensure optimal stock availability and minimize overstocking and stockouts.
- Track stock movement, receipts, issues, transfers, and adjustments.
- Identify slow-moving, non-moving, excess, and obsolete inventory and recommend appropriate actions.
- Maintain accurate inventory records across systems and reports.

2. Inventory Reconciliation & Accuracy

- Perform regular inventory reconciliation between physical stock and system records.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies in coordination with relevant teams.
- Support periodic stock audits and cycle counts.
- Ensure timely and accurate documentation of inventory transactions.

3. Reporting & Data Analysis

- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly inventory reports.
- Analyze inventory ageing, stock availability, sell-through, stock turnover, and inventory holding.
- Track key inventory KPIs and highlight risks, trends, and improvement opportunities.
- Use MS Excel to maintain trackers, analyze data, and prepare management reports.

4. Planning & Coordination

- Coordinate with Merchandising, Procurement,



Warehouse, Finance, and Operations teams for inventory-related activities.
- Support inventory replenishment and stock allocation based on business requirements.
- Monitor pending receipts, stock transfers, and inventory movement to ensure timely updates.
- Assist in identifying opportunities to improve inventory utilization and operational efficiency.

5. Process Improvement & Compliance

- Identify gaps in inventory processes and recommend corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with established inventory management procedures and internal controls.
- Maintain proper documentation and support internal and external audits.
- Contribute to process standardization, reporting automation, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Operations, or a related field.
- Relevant experience in inventory management, stock control, supply chain, retail, or e-commerce operations.
- Strong proficiency in MS Excel, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, and data analysis.
- Experience working with ERP, inventory management, or warehouse management systems.
- Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills.
- Good understanding of inventory reconciliation, stock movement, inventory ageing, and stock control.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet reporting deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience in retail, e-commerce, merchandising, or high-volume inventory operations.
- Familiarity with ERP systems and inventory reporting dashboards.
- Knowledge of inventory KPIs, stock turnover, sell-through, and ageing analysis.
- Experience in process improvement or reporting automation.
