Position Overview The Software Engineering Senior Analyst – Full Stack Development will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and delivering modern full stack applications using Python, React, PostgreSQL, and AWS.

The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience across frontend and backend development and will contribute throughout the software development lifecycle, from understanding business requirements and technical design through development, testing, deployment, and production support.

This role requires an ownership mindset, eagerness to learn, solid problem-solving capabilities, and the ability to work effectively within an Agile engineering environment.

Responsibilities

- Design, develop, test, and deploy scalable full stack applications.
- Develop backend services and RESTful APIs using Python.
- Design and develop modern, responsive web applications using React.
- Develop reusable frontend components using JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.
- Design and integrate applications with PostgreSQL databases.
- Build and deploy cloud-based applications leveraging AWS services.
- Develop clean, modular, maintainable, and reusable code.
- Perform unit testing, debugging, troubleshooting, and application performance optimization.
- Participate in technical design discussions, code reviews, sprint planning, grooming, demos, and retrospectives.
- Collaborate with Product Owners, QA, architecture, and other engineering teams to deliver business requirements.
- Support CI/CD practices and automated application deployment.




- Monitor applications and troubleshoot issues across development and production environments.
- Take ownership and accountability for assigned features and deliverables.

This responsibility structure is aligned with existing Evernorth Full Stack JDs, which emphasize end-to-end delivery, technical design, testing, AWS deployment, Agile participation, and production ownership.

Experience Required

- 3–5 years of overall software development experience, with hands-on Full Stack development.
- Strong hands-on experience in Python development.
- Strong frontend development experience using React.
- Experience working with PostgreSQL and SQL.
- Hands-on experience with AWS Cloud technologies.
- Experience developing and consuming RESTful APIs.
- Experience with Git or other source-code/version-control tools.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum development teams.
- Good understanding of software development lifecycle, coding standards, testing, and deployment practices.
- Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.

Experience Desired

- Experience with Python frameworks such as FastAPI, Django, or Flask.
- Exposure to AWS services such as Lambda, S3, EC2, RDS/Aurora, CloudWatch, or API Gateway.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Knowledge of Docker/containerization.
- Exposure to microservices or cloud-native application architecture.
- Experience with automated unit and integration testing.
- Knowledge and/or experience within the healthcare domain preferred

Education and Training Required

- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required.
