Position: Social Science Teacher

Job Summary

We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Social Science Teacher to teach students, develop their understanding of social, historical, geographical, and political concepts, and create an engaging learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

- Teach Social Science subjects, including History, Geography, Civics, and Economics, as applicable to the assigned grade levels.
- Prepare lesson plans, teaching materials, assignments, and assessments.
- Monitor students’ academic progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Use interactive teaching methods, activities, and real-life examples to enhance learning.
- Maintain classroom discipline and encourage critical thinking and student participation.
- Coordinate with parents, colleagues, and school management regarding students’ progress.




- Participate in school activities, academic meetings, and training programmes.

Requirements:

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Social Science or a relevant subject.
- B.Ed. qualification preferred.
- Prior teaching experience in a school environment is preferred.
- Good communication, classroom management, and lesson-planning skills.
- Ability to create an engaging, inclusive, and student-friendly learning environment.

Preferred Skills:

- Solid subject knowledge and effective teaching abilities.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Student-centric approach with a focus on academic development.
- Familiarity with curriculum planning and assessment methods.

Pay: ₹11,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
