Role Description The Social Media Content Creator is a full-time role responsible for developing engaging digital content that promotes Scrappy Innovations’ sustainability mission and services. This is a hybrid position based in Malappuram, where the team member will work partly on-site and partly from home as business needs allow. Day-to-day tasks include creating and scheduling posts for social media platforms, planning content calendars, and producing text, image, and short-form video content tailored to different audiences.

The role involves monitoring trends and audience engagement, responding to comments and messages,



and collaborating with marketing and operations teams to highlight campaigns, initiatives, and product offerings.

Creator will also help track basic performance metrics, optimize content based on insights, and ensure consistent brand messaging across all channels.

Qualifications

- Ability to create clear, engaging social media copy and visual concepts; strong writing and basic graphic or video editing skills.
- Familiarity with major social media platforms (e.g., Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, LinkedIn) and content formats, including stories and reels.
- Basic understanding of digital marketing principles, social media analytics, and audience engagement strategies.
- Interest in sustainability, waste management, or environmental initiatives, with the ability to communicate these topics in an accessible way.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, including experience planning content calendars and meeting deadlines.
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, receive feedback constructively, and work independently in a hybrid setting.
- Proficiency in English; knowledge of Malayalam is an advantage for local audience engagement.
- Diploma or degree in Communications, Media, Marketing, Design, or a related field is preferred, or equivalent practical experience creating digital content.
