A leading global organization in energy management and automation is looking for a SKID Design Engineer (Mechanical) to design and develop modular skid structures and E-House solutions for medium-voltage (MV), low-voltage (LV), transformer and battery energy storage system (BESS) applications.

Key Responsibilities

- Skid & Structural Design: Design mechanical skid frames, steel structures and modular platforms. Prepare general arrangement (GA) drawings, fabrication drawings and 3D models.
- Structural Analysis: Perform structural calculations and simulations for equipment loads, wind, seismic conditions, transportation, lifting and installation. Ensure compliance with international standards such as IS, IEC, AISC, ASCE and Eurocodes.
- Foundation & Interface Engineering: Analyze skid-to-foundation interfaces, calculate base reactions, define anchor bolt configurations and coordinate with civil and structural engineering teams.
- Lifting & Transportation: Design lifting lugs and rigging arrangements, considering transportation constraints and structural safety during handling and site installation.




- Cross-functional Coordination: Work with electrical, civil, manufacturing, supply chain and project execution teams to ensure design feasibility and successful project delivery.
- Documentation: Prepare structural calculations, engineering reports, technical specifications and design documentation.

Educational Qualification & Experience

- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Minimum 6 years of relevant experience in skid design, steel structure design or structural engineering.
- Solid expertise in structural calculations, steel structures and modular/skid-based systems.
- Proficiency in STAAD, ANSYS or equivalent structural analysis tools, along with AutoCAD and 3D CAD software such as SolidWorks or Creo.(MUST)

Preferred Industry Experience

Candidates with experience in E-House solutions, MV/LV switchgear, transformer skids, BESS, modular power infrastructure, data centers, EPC projects or industrial engineering projects will be preferred
