Role overview

We are looking for a hands-on Site Engineer to inspect customer properties, identify site requirements, support the sales team with technical inputs, and coordinate waterproofing project execution. The role involves regular site visits, coordination with customers and work crews, and explicit reporting from inspection through project closure.

Key responsibilitiesSite inspection and assessment

- Visit customer sites referred by the Customer Service Executive (CSE) and conduct inspections in line with company standards.
- Diagnose the reported issue, assess site conditions, and identify suitable solutions based on the customer’s requirements and budget.
- Record site observations, measurements, photographs, and other relevant information.
- Share technical findings and recommendations with the CSE to help prepare an appropriate customer proposal.
- Join the CSE for customer discussions when needed, explain the proposed scope, and help align expectations with the work to be delivered.

Project execution
- Review the project plan and scope shared by the CSE, then prepare the site, crew, materials, and schedule for execution.




- Coordinate and guide crew members to complete work safely, smoothly, and according to the agreed plan.
- Track planned versus actual progress, raise delays or site issues early, and help keep delivery within the expected timeline.
- Monitor workmanship and material use, and address execution issues in coordination with the relevant team members.
- Complete site closure checks and support project audits as required.

Reporting and coordination
- Submit daily site reports, material consumption reports, and site closure or audit reports to the CSE.
- Provide customers with regular project updates and communicate site requirements or changes promptly.
- Maintain accurate project records, including inspection findings, progress, materials, issues, and completion details.
- Coordinate with customers, CSEs, crew members, and other stakeholders throughout the project.

Requirements
- Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering or a related field preferred.
- Experience in site supervision, construction, repairs, or waterproofing is an advantage.
- Fluent Kannada communication is compulsory.
- Must have a two-wheeler and a valid driving licence.
- Willingness to travel regularly to sites across Chennai.
- Good communication, planning, coordination, and record-keeping skills.
- Ability to work hands-on at customer sites and manage multiple assignments.

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
