Role Description This is a full-time, in office Service Engineer role based in Ahmedabad.

The Service

Engineer will install, commission, and maintain Allengers medical devices and diagnostic equipment at customer locations, ensuring optimal performance and safety. Daily responsibilities include performing scheduled and preventive maintenance, diagnosing technical issues, and executing repairs or replacements in alignment with company standards. The role involves providing technical support, training end users on proper equipment operation, and documenting service activities, reports, and parts usage.

Engineer will collaborate closely with the local service team and central technical support to resolve complex issues, support warranty and post-warranty services, and uphold high levels of customer sati sfaction.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Troubleshooting skills for diagnosing and resolving equipment and system issues efficiently.
- Candidates should possess Field Service experience, including on-site installation, commissioning, and customer visits for medical or technical equipment.
- Candidates should possess effective Communication skills to interact with healthcare staff, explain technical concepts clearly, and prepare service documentation.
- Candidates should possess solid Technical Support capabilities, including remote and on-site assistance, issue escalation, and coordination with central support teams.
- Candidates should possess Maintenance & Repair skills for preventive and corrective maintenance of electronic, electrical, and mechanical components.
- Diploma or degree in Biomedical Engineering, Electronics, Electrical, or related technical field.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and service documentation.
- Willingness to travel within the region for field assignments and support calls.
- Basic knowledge of medical device safety standards and regulatory requirements is an advantage.
- Prior experience in medical equipment servicing or healthcare technology support is preferred.
