Job SummaryWe are looking for a passionate and technically enthusiastic Service & Installation Engineer who enjoys working with electronics, understands basic mechanical systems, and is comfortable travelling to customer locations for installation, troubleshooting, maintenance, and technical support.

The ideal candidate should have a hands-on approach, strong electronics fundamentals, a willingness to learn, and the confidence to interact professionally with customers.

Candidates with 1–3 years of relevant experience are preferred. Freshers with strong electronics fundamentals and a genuine interest in field service are also encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities1. Installation & Commissioning

- Install and commission electronic products and equipment at customer locations.
- Perform basic electrical, electronic, and mechanical assembly activities.
- Ensure proper wiring, connections, mounting, and system functionality.
- Conduct functional testing after installation to ensure the system operates as expected.

2. Service & Troubleshooting

- Identify and troubleshoot basic electronic and mechanical issues.
- Perform basic PCB inspection, soldering, wire connections, and component replacement.




- Diagnose installation-related issues and provide suitable technical solutions.
- Conduct preventive maintenance and routine service activities.
- Escalate complex technical issues to the engineering team with proper observations.

3. Customer Interaction

- Communicate effectively with customers during installation and service visits.
- Explain product functionality and basic operating procedures.
- Understand customer concerns and provide professional technical support.
- Maintain positive customer relationships and represent Helmio professionally.

4. Travel & Field Operations

- Travel to customer sites across Tamil Nadu and other states as required.
- Be comfortable with outstation travel and occasional extended stays.
- Coordinate with internal engineering and project teams for installation schedules.
- Submit installation reports, service reports, and customer feedback after every visit.

5. Technical Coordination

- Coordinate with hardware and mechanical engineering teams.
- Provide practical feedback from field installations to improve product reliability.
- Assist in prototype testing, product validation, and field trials whenever required.

Mandatory Eligibility CriteriaCandidates must have:

- A good fundamental understanding of electronics.
- Basic knowledge of mechanical components, assembly, and fitting.
- Basic soldering skills, including wire soldering and through-hole component soldering.
- The ability to perform basic mechanical assembly using hand tools.




- Effective verbal communication skills.
- Willingness to travel to customer locations, including outstation travel.
- A positive attitude towards hands-on technical work.
- The ability to work independently at customer sites while coordinating with the internal team.

Preferred Qualifications & Skills

- Diploma, ITI, B.E., or B.Tech in Electronics, Electrical, Mechatronics, or Mechanical Engineering.
- Basic knowledge of multimeter usage and electrical testing.
- Familiarity with wiring, connectors, cables, and electronic components.
- Basic understanding of PCB layouts and electronic circuits.
- Familiarity with tools such as screwdrivers, crimping tools, drilling tools, and soldering stations.
- Previous experience in installation, field service, maintenance, or technical support will be an advantage.
