About the Role

We are looking for an SEO Content Writer who can create high-quality, structured, search-focused content for RentoMojo. The candidate should understand SEO, search intent, content flow, and how to create genuinely useful content for users and search engines.

Key Responsibilities

- Create well-structured, SEO-aligned, and engaging content for blogs, category pages, landing pages, city pages, and other website content.

- Conduct keyword research using tools such as Google Keyword Planner and other SEO tools to identify relevant keywords, search volumes, and content opportunities.

- Understand search intent and SERPs and create content flows based on what is performing, while identifying opportunities to improve rather than simply copying competitors.

- Have a good understanding of keyword usage, keyword placement, anchor text, and internal linking.

- Create GEO-friendly content that is clear, informative, well-structured, and useful for AI-driven search experiences.

- Ensure content is original, plagiarism-free, human-written, and not generic AI-generated content.

- Conduct basic competitor/SERP and content-gap research before writing.

- Work with SEO briefs and follow keyword, structure, linking, and content requirements accurately.

- Have a basic understanding of on-page SEO, metadata, URL structure, headings, internal linking, indexing, and other SEO fundamentals.

- Support basic SEO activities beyond content writing,



including content audits, keyword tracking, identifying optimization opportunities, and implementing on-page SEO improvements.

- Review and reoptimize existing content based on SEO performance.

- Track content performance after publishing/reoptimization using tools such as Google Search Console, Google Analytics, Ahrefs, SEMrush, etc.

- Collaborate with the SEO team to continuously improve content quality and organic performance.

Requirements

- 2–4 years of experience in SEO content writing/content marketing.

- Strong written English, grammar, research, and editing skills.

- Good understanding of SEO, keyword research, search intent, on-page SEO, internal linking, and content structure.

- Hands-on understanding of Google Keyword Planner and basic keyword research processes.

- Ability to plan a logical content flow before writing.

- Basic understanding of SEO beyond content writing and willingness to work on broader SEO activities.

- Understanding of how to use AI tools responsibly without compromising originality and content quality.

- Ability to understand SEO performance data and make content improvements based on it.
