Role Description The Senior System Engineer is a full-time, in office role based in the Pune Division, responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining core IT systems that support Alpha Lockstep Venture Holdings and its subsidiaries. Day-to-day responsibilities include planning and deploying system architectures, managing servers and networked systems, monitoring performance, and ensuring high availability and security of critical infrastructure. The role involves diagnosing and resolving complex technical issues, coordinating with cross-functional teams to support business applications,



and providing advanced technical support and guidance to internal stakeholders.

The Senior System

Engineer will also contribute to capacity planning, system upgrades, documentation of configurations and procedures, and continuous improvement of operational processes and standards.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Systems Engineering and Systems Design skills for planning, architecting, and optimizing complex infrastructures.
- Candidates should possess solid System Administration skills, including server management, configuration, monitoring, and security best practices.
- Candidates should possess advanced Troubleshooting and Technical Support capabilities for diagnosing, resolving, and preventing system and application issues.
- Candidates should possess experience with enterprise operating systems (e.g., Windows Server, Linux), virtualization platforms, and network fundamentals.
- Candidates should possess knowledge of backup and recovery strategies, high availability solutions, and performance tuning.
- Candidates should possess strong documentation, communication, and collaboration skills to work effectively with technical and non-technical teams.
- Relevant bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., MCSE, RHCE, VMware, Cisco) are an advantage.
- Prior experience in a senior or lead systems engineering role supporting multi-site or diversified business operations is highly beneficial.
