Position: Senior Security Manager

Band: 'E' | Salary: Up to Rs. 29.50 LPA

Location: Information Security Division, UIDAI HQ - stationed at Technology Centre, Bengaluru

Engagement: Contractual - through GA Digital Web Word Pvt. Ltd.

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION

B.E. / B.Tech / M.Sc (Computers) / M.Sc (IT) / MCA

EXPERIENCE AND MANDATORY CERTIFICATION

Minimum 10 years of experience in Cyber Security, Security Operations Center (SOC), Network Security, or Cloud Security.

At least one of the following certifications is mandatory: CISSP / CISM / CCSP.

KEY EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

Proven experience in managing security operations, security teams, and organizational security functions.

Strong exposure to handling external audits and client/stakeholder interactions.

Ability to design solutions and architecture for security frameworks.

Solid understanding of Cloud Security and Control Matrix.

Experience in drafting, implementing, and reviewing policies, standards, and procedures for security governance.

TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE

Familiarity with information security standards such as ISO 27001 and various cyber-security frameworks.

Deep understanding of cyber-attacks, threat landscapes, risk management methodologies, and defensive controls.

Demonstrated ability in driving, managing, and delivering complex security projects.

JOB PROFILE / RESPONSIBILITIES

Leadership and Team Management: Guide and inspire security teams while steering key projects with conviction and clarity.

Perimeter Security: Strengthen and refine perimeter defenses using Firewalls, Web Gateways,



Cloud Security tools, WAF, NIPS, and related technologies.

Strategic Vision: Provide strategic direction to elevate the security posture across SOC operations and organizational frameworks.

Incident Response Oversight: Supervise proactive monitoring, centralized incident management, and preventive maintenance.

Operational Excellence: Enhance the deployment and continual improvement of Security Operations and Threat Management technologies, processes, automation, and integrations.

Threat Intelligence: Track emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and attack techniques, driving the implementation of preventive measures.

Architecture and Compliance: Maintain a strong grip on controls, service architecture, and planned enhancements across the organization.

Cloud Security Governance: Manage cloud security assessments, posture improvements, and compliance reporting.

Metrics and Reporting: Deliver meaningful dashboards and metrics showcasing SOC performance, risk posture, and compliance readiness.

Standards and Policy Implementation: Strengthen adherence to ISO 27001, Aadhaar Act, IT Act, and internal security frameworks.

Cross-Functional Support: Provide technical guidance to development, infrastructure, and operations teams on secure practices.

Stakeholder Collaboration: Build and sustain solid relationships with external auditors and key stakeholders to ensure risk oversight aligns with regulations.

Compliance Documentation: Release and maintain periodic security metrics and compliance reports.
