Public Affairs Centre is looking for an experienced Senior Research Officer to join our team in Shillong, Meghalaya.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead and coordinate research studies, assessments, and evaluations.
- Undertake data collection, analysis, report writing, and preparation of research documents.
- Engage and liaise with government officers / officials and relevant stakeholders to build professional networks and facilitate collaboration.
- Coordinate with government departments and other institutions to support project implementation.
- Provide research-based insights and recommendations to inform public policies and programmes.

Eligibility & Experience:

- Master’s degree in a relevant discipline.
- Minimum 8–10 years of relevant experience in research, policy analysis, programme implementation & evaluation, or related fields.
- Strong communication, analytical, Project Proposal & Report-Writing, and coordination skills.
- Demonstrated ability to engage with government officials and build effective professional networks.
- Experience working on public policy, governance, development programmes,



or social sector projects will be an advantage.

Salary: Commensurate with qualifications and experience, at par with applicable organisational norms.
