Senior React UI/UX Developer

About the role

Keytag.ai builds AI solutions for enterprise clients and develops its own platform. You'll work on both:

- Client projects: custom AI assistants, agent systems, and knowledge-graph applications we build for enterprise clients on long-term contracts. Here you'll work directly with the client's team, from requirements through to delivery and support.
- Keytag products: our own platform and reusable components that power these client solutions. Here you'll build and improve features, UI components, and the overall user experience.

We're hiring one senior React developer who will move between the two. On any given week you might be demoing a feature to a client in the morning and working on a core Keytag product component in the afternoon. You'll often see what clients need first-hand and pass that feedback on to the product team. This is not a ticket-taking role. Projects come with specs, but you'll also join client calls, clarify requirements, explain technical trade-offs to non-technical stakeholders, and fill in the gaps where a spec doesn't cover everything. If you'd prefer to work only from assigned tasks with no client contact, this role is not a good fit.

What a typical week looks like

- Joining calls with client teams to demo features, gather feedback, and troubleshoot issues on their projects
- Building client-specific features and integrations on top of the Keytag platform
- Improving our core product: shared components, UX patterns, and frontend architecture used across all client deployments




- Building data-heavy interfaces (large tables, graph visualisations, agent chat UIs) that consume JSON from Python/FastAPI services
- Working from project specs, raising questions early, and suggesting improvements with our architects and backend developers
- Shipping your own work through Git, CI/CD, and Docker in a Linux environment

You must have

- 5+ years of skilled frontend development, with at least 3 years of production React (Hooks, Context, state management at scale)
- Shipped at least one data-heavy application used by real business users, not only marketing sites or tutorials
- Direct client or stakeholder communication experience: you've personally run demos, gathered requirements, or handled support escalations
- Experience balancing client delivery with longer-term product work, e.g., at a product company with enterprise customers, or a services firm with its own platform
- Strong written and spoken English; you'll be writing to and speaking with client teams regularly
- Comfort working independently in a small, remote team

Nice to have

- Python/FastAPI understanding
- ag-grid, GoJS, or other complex visualisation libraries
- Experience building UIs for LLM/AI assistants or knowledge graphs
- AI-assisted development with tools like Claude Code
- Angular experience
