About the Role

Job Summary

We are looking for a Senior Python Developer to design, develop, test, and support enterprise applications, REST APIs, microservices, automation solutions, and data-processing frameworks. The role will support the SAP IS-U Edge System transformation program and involve integration with enterprise, cloud, utility, and customer-service platforms.

Responsibilities

- Develop scalable enterprise applications using Python.
- Design and develop REST APIs and microservices using frameworks such as FastAPI, Flask, or Django.
- Build ETL/ELT pipelines, data-ingestion processes, transformation frameworks, and validation solutions.
- Develop integrations with SAP IS-U, MDM, Salesforce, GIS, customer portals, reporting platforms, and middleware systems.
- Create automation scripts for deployment, monitoring, environment management, and business workflows.
- Develop cloud-native, containerized, and serverless applications.
- Perform unit testing, integration testing, SIT, UAT, defect resolution, and regression testing.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and support automated deployments.
- Optimize application, API, database, and data-processing performance.
- Provide L2/L3 production support, root-cause analysis, deployment, cutover, and hypercare support.
- Follow secure coding, authentication, authorization,



and enterprise security standards.

Qualifications

Qualification bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Data Engineering, or a related field.

Experience Range7–12+ years, with strong expertise in Python, APIs, cloud-native development, data engineering, automation, and enterprise integrations.

Required Skills

- Mandatory Skills7+ years of software development experience.
- 5+ years of hands-on Python development experience.
- Solid experience in enterprise application and API development.
- Hands-on experience with REST APIs, microservices, databases, and system integrations.
- Good knowledge of Python frameworks such as FastAPI, Flask, or Django.
- Experience with data processing and ETL/ELT development.

Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills

- Data: Pandas, NumPy, PySpark, Databricks, Apache Spark.
- Integration: GraphQL, JSON, XML, OAuth 2.0, JWT, Kafka, IBM MQ.
- Databases: Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis.
- Cloud and DevOps: Microsoft Azure, Azure Functions, Azure App Services, AKS, Docker, Kubernetes, Git, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, Terraform.
- Reporting: Power BI and reporting automation.

Knowledge of SAP IS-U, utility billing, Meter Data Management, AMI, CIS, or meter-to-cash processes will be advantageous.
