We are looking for a Senior Python Developer / Data Engineer with strong Python expertise and a passion for building scalable backend systems, robust data pipelines, and high-performance data solutions.

This role is ideal for an engineer who can independently solve complex technical challenges, design reliable data workflows, and contribute to building scalable, production-ready systems.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable Python-based backend systems and data pipelines.
- Build and optimize ETL/ELT workflows for large-scale data ingestion, transformation, and processing.
- Develop web scraping and automated data extraction solutions.
- Build and maintain backend APIs, internal services, and third-party integrations.
- Implement data validation, normalization, enrichment, and quality-control mechanisms.
- Optimize database queries, storage architecture, and data processing performance.
- Work with structured, semi-structured, and unstructured datasets.
- Develop reusable, modular, and maintainable backend components.
- Improve system reliability, monitoring, debugging, and operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with product, analytics, and engineering teams to deliver scalable solutions.
- Contribute to technical architecture, design decisions, and engineering best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications
- Strong proficiency in Python is mandatory.
- Solid understanding of data engineering principles and pipeline development.
- Hands-on experience with SQL and relational databases.




- Experience designing and maintaining ETL/ELT and data processing workflows.
- Good understanding of REST APIs, backend systems, and system integrations.
- Experience handling large datasets and optimizing performance.
- Familiarity with Linux environments and server-side operations.
- Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to write clean, reusable, efficient, and maintainable code.

Preferred Skills
- Experience with Python web frameworks such as FastAPI, Flask, or Django.
- Hands-on experience in Python-based backend or web application development.
- Familiarity with web scraping frameworks and browser automation tools.
- Working knowledge of PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis, or Elasticsearch.
- Experience with Docker, CI/CD, and application deployment workflows.
- Exposure to distributed systems and scalable software architectures.
- Familiarity with data analytics, reporting systems, or business intelligence platforms.
