Key Responsibilities

- Lead HVAC design from concept through detailed design stages.

- Deliver detailed mechanical design drawings (HVAC, Plumbing, Firefighting) in line with ASHRAE standards.

- Perform mechanical design calculations, equipment sizing, selection, layouts, and prepare technical reports.

- Develop technical specifications, schedules, and design development documentation.

- Plan and manage CAD documentation of design work.

- Keep senior design team members informed of key service/design decisions and ensure project objectives are achieved.

- Manage project finances, monitor scope, and ensure quality standards are met.

- Organize workload to meet client expectations and deadlines.

- Attend client, site, and external design team meetings.

- Support junior engineers and participate in internal design reviews to ensure quality and consistency.

Skills & Experience

- 8–12 years of experience in building services design engineering, with exposure to high‑rise buildings, airports, malls, mixed developments, and large infrastructure projects.





- Strong expertise in HVAC design, with knowledge of plumbing and firefighting systems.

- Ability to take high levels of responsibility while working independently and collaboratively.

- Working knowledge of Indian and international standards.

- Broad building design knowledge across diverse projects.

- Advanced Excel skills, including macros.

- Mechanical expertise with good understanding of electrical concepts and their impact on projects.

- Proficiency in AutoCAD, IES, and HAP software.

- Strong knowledge of chiller selection, CHW/CDW piping design, AHUs, FCUs, pumps, fans, duct design, and pressure drop calculations.

- Understanding of BMS and automation of mechanical systems.

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a relevant discipline.
