Role Overview

We are looking for a Semi-Qualified Accountant with strong fundamentals in accounting and hands-on experience in General Ledger (GL) management. The candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day GL operations, month-end closing and reconciliations, and for ensuring the accuracy and compliance of financial books in Tally and ERP.

Key Responsibilities – GL & Accounting

General Ledger (GL) Accounting

- Manage complete GL accounting, including journal entries, accruals, prepayments and provisions.
- Ensure timely month-end and year-end closing of books.
- Perform balance sheet reconciliations — bank, vendor, customer, inter-company, loans and other accounts.




- Review and post entries related to purchases, sales, expenses and fixed assets.
- Maintain the Chart of Accounts and ensure correct accounting heads are used.
- Ensure compliance with GST, TDS and other statutory requirements in accounting.
- Prepare monthly MIS, schedules and supporting documentation for financial reporting.
- Assist in internal and statutory audits — preparation of audit schedules and responses to audit queries.
- Identify gaps in existing processes and suggest improvements to reduce manual intervention.

Required Skills

- Semi-Qualified CA / CMA with 3–5 years of experience in GL accounting.
- Robust knowledge of Accounting Standards, GST and TDS.
- Hands-on experience in Tally and ERP systems.
- Advanced Excel skills — VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, SUMIF, etc.
- Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.

Pay: ₹500,000.00 - ₹1,000,000.00 per year
