Eligibility Criteria

- Educational Qualification: It is preferred that the candidate is a Graduate in any discipline; however, they must have completed a Diploma in Safety.

- Total Experience: A minimum of 7 to 10 years of total experience in the construction industry.

- Project-Specific Experience: Out of the total experience, at least 2 to 4 years must be in a key position dedicated to safety and health monitoring for an underground metro railway project.

Roles and Responsibilities In the context of an underground metro project, the SHE position is responsible for the following:

- Safety and Health Monitoring: Serving as the lead for monitoring health and safety protocols specifically tailored to underground construction hazards.





- Underground Hazard Management: Implementing safety measures for risks inherent to underground works, such as tunnel ventilation, gas detection, ground support monitoring, and confined space entry.

- Compliance Oversight: Ensuring that all site activities adhere to stringent safety standards required by metro rail authorities, which often involve complex regulatory oversight.

- Key Position Accountability: Assuming a leadership role in managing safety performance, conducting risk assessments, and overseeing the implementation of safety management systems (SMS) in office.
