Job Summary

Golden Homes Pvt. Ltd. is seeking an experienced and technically robust Senior Engineer – Civil with a minimum of 10 years of experience in residential and building construction.

The candidate will be responsible for end-to-end site execution, project coordination, quality control, contractor management, manpower planning, and timely completion of construction activities. The ideal candidate should have strong practical knowledge of residential construction and the ability to independently manage site operations while coordinating effectively with consultants, contractors, suppliers, and the management team.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage and supervise overall civil construction activities at residential project sites.
- Plan, coordinate, and monitor day-to-day construction activities as per project schedules.
- Ensure all works are executed in accordance with approved architectural and structural drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
- Coordinate with architects, structural consultants, contractors, subcontractors, vendors, and internal project teams.
- Supervise RCC, structural works, masonry, plastering, waterproofing, flooring, tiling, painting, and other finishing activities.
- Review drawings and identify technical issues, discrepancies, and site constraints.
- Coordinate with consultants and management for timely resolution of technical and construction-related issues.
- Monitor project progress against planned schedules and take corrective action to avoid delays.
- Verify measurements, quantities, levels,



line, alignment, and workmanship.
- Monitor material requirements, material usage, and wastage at the project site.
- Plan and coordinate manpower, materials, machinery, and other resources required for project execution.
- Inspect construction activities regularly to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Monitor contractor and subcontractor performance and ensure timely execution of assigned works.
- Prepare and review daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports.
- Maintain proper site records, measurements, inspection reports, and construction documentation.
- Identify construction risks, delays, and site-related issues and implement appropriate corrective measures.
- Coordinate with the management regarding project progress, manpower requirements, material requirements, and completion targets.
- Ensure proper site safety practices, housekeeping, and compliance with company procedures.
- Guide and provide technical support to Site Engineers, Site Supervisors, and other site personnel.
- Ensure projects are completed within the planned time, quality, and resource requirements.

Candidate Requirements

- BE - Civil from a recognized institution.
- Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in civil construction.
- Strong experience in residential / real estate building construction is preferred.
- Solid practical knowledge of construction methods, materials, and site execution.
- Good knowledge of RCC,



structural works, masonry, plastering, waterproofing, flooring, tiling, painting, and finishing works.
- Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, and service drawings.
- Strong knowledge of construction quality standards and inspection procedures.
- Experience in contractor, subcontractor, and manpower management.
- Good understanding of measurements, quantities, material planning, and site documentation.
- Strong leadership, coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to independently manage site activities and coordinate multiple work fronts.
- Positive knowledge of project scheduling and progress monitoring.
- Willingness to work at project sites across Chennai.
