About Response

Working closely with leading brands, policymakers, and industry leaders, Response creates meaningful business conversations that drive influence and business outcomes.

The Opportunity

Join the Response Editorial team as a Senior Editor and play a pivotal role in shaping high-impact business conversations across events, roundtables, leadership forums, branded content, print, digital, and video platforms. You will lead the conceptualisation and execution of thought leadership initiatives that engage senior business leaders, policymakers, and industry stakeholders. This role requires a strong understanding of India's economic and corporate landscape, exceptional editorial judgement, and the ability to collaborate across editorial, commercial, and production teams to deliver compelling business content and experiences.

What You Will Do

•Lead the editorial strategy and content development for business events, conferences, roundtables, and thought leadership platforms.

•Conceptualise and deliver high-quality business content across print, digital, video, and experiential formats.

•Engage with CXOs, industry leaders, policymakers, and subject matter experts to identify relevant themes and emerging business trends.

•Partner with commercial and brand teams to develop credible, audience-focused solutions that meet client and business objectives.

•Moderate or support business conversations,



interviews, panel discussions, and leadership forums.

•Guide and mentor editorial team members while ensuring content quality, accuracy, and relevance.

•Collaborate with cross-functional teams including sales, marketing, production, and digital to execute integrated business solutions.

•Ensure all editorial initiatives align with organisational standards, guidelines, and brand credibility.

What You Bring

Must-Have

•12-18 years of experience in business journalism, editorial leadership, branded content, or business-focused media platforms.

•Strong understanding of India's economic, policy, financial, and corporate ecosystem.

•Demonstrated experience creating business content across multiple formats, including print, digital, events, and video.

•Proven ability to engage confidently with senior business leaders, decision-makers, and government stakeholders.

•Experience leading editorial teams and managing complex content projects.

•Excellent communication, interviewing, moderation, and stakeholder management skills.

•Solid editorial judgement and command over business writing and storytelling.

Preferred

•Established network of CXOs, industry leaders, policymakers, and government dignitaries.

•Experience working with branded content, custom publishing, or integrated marketing solutions.

•Exposure to large-scale business events, conferences, and thought leadership platforms.

Education

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Journalism, Mass Communication, Business, Economics, Media Studies, or a related field. Equivalent experience in business journalism or editorial leadership will also be considered.
