QN Management Support

Key Responsibilities

- Create, Modify and maintain Quality Notifications (QNs) in SAP based on quality issues, customer complaints, supplier defects, production deviations.

- Review defect descriptions and determine completeness, accuracy, and sufficiency of information needed for effective dispositioning.

- Identify missing or unclear information within defect records by analyzing the related Engineering documents.

- Collaborate with key cross-functional stakeholders to achieve Project objectives and deliverables.

- Support root cause analysis and problem-solving activities using tools such as 5 Why, Fishbone, Pareto analysis, 8D, Root Cause Analysis (RCA) etc.

- Design characteristic interpretation, GD&T; interpretation, blue-print reading, DPD interpretation, measurement equipment used.

- Support team activities like QCPC analysis, continuous improvement, problem-solving, Lean, etc.

- Create/initiate Corrective Action workflows related to supplier-responsible nonconformances.

Skill Requirements

- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Aerospace/Manufacturing engineering.





- 6-8 years of experience in Aerospace/Automotive Sectors (Minimum 3 years of experience in Manufacturing/Quality domain).

- Robust experience with QN creation, review, analyzing defects and related causes.

- Deep understanding of Quality analysis (RRCA, Fish bone, 5 Why, 8D etc.) and should have demonstrated implementation.

- Hands-on experience in tools such as SAP (Quality Management module), ETQ, Teamcenter is an added advantage.

- Demonstrated experience in administrative processing of quality-related documentation or workflows.

- Exposure to Manufacturing processes, Assembly processes, special processes, Inspection processes etc.

- Exposure to Machined, Sheet-Metal, Composite commodities.

- Working Knowledge of GD&T; concepts and Inspection methods.

- Expertise with AS9100 requirements.

- Robust analytical, problem-solving skills with excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

- Required to work at customer location: Northgate office - Yelahanka.
