About the Role The Senior Data Solution Analyst will be part of the Data & Analytics Office , based in Mumbai-Thane . This role is responsible for designing and implementing modern data marts and data solutions that align with business requirements across various functions. Operating under the umbrella of data management practices, the role focuses on delivering cutting-edge solutions to real-world business problems.
A strong understanding of source system databases and the ability to build data pipelines for Data Lake and cloud-based solutions is essential.
Key Responsibilities
Primary Responsibilities
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of data management practices, data quality, data development frameworks, and modern technology stacks.
- Participate in the design, development, and optimization of data marts and frameworks to improve data processes, standards, and rules.
- Design and implement ETL data pipelines and monitoring mechanisms.
- Analyse data-related issues and collaborate with business stakeholders to design effective resolutions.
- Build data mart solutions and contribute to data knowledge within the Data & Analytics Office.
- Apply expertise in new-generation technology stacks (e.g., B33) to support solution development.
Secondary Responsibilities
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to a team of 2–5 developers.
- Maintain a strong command of the technology stack and ensure alignment with business needs.
- Exhibit techno-functional knowledge and delivery leadership capabilities.
What We Are Looking For
Education
- Graduation in BSC or BCA or B.Tech.
Experience
- 5+ years of relevant experience in data management, preferably within the banking domain.
Skills and Attributes
- Proficiency in data pipeline development, ETL tools, and cloud data platforms.
- Solid understanding of SDLC and data solutioning methodologies.
- Leadership skills with the ability to mentor and manage a small technical team.
- Excellent problem-solving and stakeholder management abilities.
Key Success Metrics
- Successful implementation of data solution and management frameworks across business lines (Retail Banking or Cards Domain).
- Delivery of effective, business-driven data solutions.
