Catalonia Trade & Investment is expanding its presence in India with a new office in Delhi NCR. We are looking for a Senior Consultant who is highly proactive, commercially inclined and comfortable being out in the market meeting companies, attending industry events, building relationships and generating opportunities.

The role will focus on two closely connected areas:

Investment Attraction: Identifying Indian companies looking at international or European expansion and positioning Catalonia as a location for investment, manufacturing, R&D;, technology and other strategic activities.

Supplier Search: Engaging with Indian companies to understand what products, technologies, suppliers or solutions they are looking for, and connecting their needs with relevant Catalan companies.

Key responsibilities

- Meet Indian companies, CXOs, promoters and business decisionmakers and develop long-term relationships.
- Attend industry events, conferences and business forums to identify new companies and opportunities.
- Proactively identify Indian companies with investment and international expansion potential.
- Understand the needs of Indian companies and develop Supplier Search opportunities for Catalan companies.




- Connect Indian companies with relevant Catalan businesses and support the opportunity through to follow-up.
- Develop market intelligence and identify sectors and companies where Catalonia can add value.
- Represent Catalonia Trade & Investment in the Indian business ecosystem.

What we are looking for

- 5+ years of experience in business development, international business, investment promotion, consulting, corporate strategy or a similar field.
- Proven experience dealing with Indian companies and senior decisionmakers.
- Robust networking and relationship-building skills, with a willingness to actively develop contacts from scratch.
- Commercial mindset with the ability to turn conversations into concrete opportunities.
- Excellent communication skills in English and Hindi.
- High autonomy, initiative and results orientation.
- Willingness to travel within India.
