Role Description This is a full-time, in office role based in Ajmer for a senior professional in business development, vendor development, and tendering, preferably from heavy fabrication, bridge girders, PEB, railway structures, and infrastructure subcontracting backgrounds. The role involves identifying and developing new business opportunities with EPC contractors, infrastructure companies, railways, and industrial clients, as well as nurturing existing customer relationships. Daily tasks include prospecting and lead generation, preparing techno-commercial proposals, coordinating tender submissions, and managing bid documentation in line with company capabilities and standards.





The professional will also be responsible for developing and onboarding vendors for fabrication, raw materials, and subcontracted services, negotiating prices and terms, and ensuring quality and delivery commitments are met. The role requires close collaboration with design, production, and finance teams to align cost estimates, project schedules, and contract terms, along with regular market research to track competitor activities, pricing trends, and upcoming projects.

Qualifications

- Strong experience in business development and key account management within heavy fabrication, bridge girders, PEB, railway structures, or infrastructure subcontracting sectors.
- Proven skills in tendering, bid management, techno-commercial proposal preparation, and contract negotiation with public and private sector clients.
- Experience in vendor development, supplier evaluation, rate finalization, and managing subcontractors for fabrication, erection, and related services.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings, BOQs, and specifications, with familiarity in crane systems, structural steel, or similar mechanical products.
- Solid understanding of costing, pricing, margins, and project budgeting, with strong analytical and numerical skills.
- Effective communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across engineering, production, procurement, and finance teams.
- Proficiency with MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and basic ERP or CRM tools for reporting, documentation, and pipeline management.
