About the Role

We are looking for a Senior AI Engineer with 5–7 years of hands-on experience in building, deploying, and optimising production-grade AI/ML solutions.

The role involves working across LLMs, Generative AI, RAG, AI Agents,

Computer Vision, Small Language Models (SLMs), and healthcare AI. The ideal candidate should have strong experience taking AI solutions from experimentation and model development through to API integration, production deployment, monitoring, and optimisation.

Healthcare/Health-Tech experience is preferrable.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and deploy production-grade AI/ML solutions.

Build and optimise LLM and Generative AI applications.

Design and implement Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG)pipelines.

Develop AI agents and agentic workflows involving planning, reasoning, tool usage, and task execution.

Work on Small Language Models (SLMs)for domain-specific applications.

Perform model training, fine-tuning, evaluation, inference optimisation, and deployment.

Develop Computer Vision solutions, preferably for healthcare or medical imaging use cases.

Analyse structured and unstructured healthcare data to identify patterns, insights, and automation opportunities.

Build data pipelines and prepare datasets for training, evaluation, and production systems.

Develop evaluation frameworks to measure the performance of LLMs, RAG systems, agents, and ML models.





Integrate AI models into production applications through APIs and microservices.

Implement monitoring, logging, testing, and continuous improvement for AI systems.

Collaborate with engineering and product teams to deploy scalable AI solutions.

Evaluate different AI/ML approaches based on accuracy, performance, cost, and scalability.

Stay updated with advancements in LLMs, multimodal AI, agentic AI, Computer Vision, and model optimisation.

Required Skills & Experience

5–7 years of professional experience in AI/ML, Machine Learning Engineering, Applied AI, or a related field.

Mandatory healthcare/health-tech experience, including medical AI, clinical data, medical imaging, healthcare analytics, or related domains.

Strong hands-on experience with LLMs and Generative AI.

Proven experience building and deploying RAG systems.

Hands-on experience developing AI Agents / Agentic AI systems.

Strong programming skills in Python.

Experience with Computer Vision, preferably in healthcare or medical imaging.

Solid data analysis and experience working with large and complex datasets.

Experience with model training, fine-tuning, evaluation, and deployment.

Experience with Small Language Models (SLMs).

Strong understanding of: skills

Vector databases

Semantic search

Retrieval pipelines

Reranking

Model evaluation and optimisation

Experience integrating AI/ML models into production applications using APIs and microservices.

Experience with cloud platforms, preferably AWS.





Strong understanding of software engineering practices, Git, testing, APIs, and production deployment.

LangChain, LlamaIndex or similar frameworks

Open-source LLMs such as Llama, Mistral, Qwen, Gemma, or similar

Medical imaging, OCR, Document Intelligence, or Clinical NLP

Healthcare data standards and interoperability

Vector databases such as **Pinecone, Weaviate, Milvus, Qdrant, or pgvector

Model serving and inference optimisation

Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, and MLOps

AWS services such as SageMaker, Bedrock, Lambda, ECS/EKS, S3

What We're Looking For

We are looking for an engineer who can take an AI solution beyond experimentation and notebooks and drive it through the complete lifecycle:

Data → Experimentation → Model Development → Evaluation → API Integration → Production Deployment → Monitoring → Optimisation The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience building real-world AI systems and understand the requirements of deploying AI solutions in healthcare, including accuracy, reliability, privacy, security, and explainability.
