- Pricing, reserving, reinsurance, capital modeling, solvency, and regulatory reporting.
- Proficiency in tools like Excel (advanced), Emblem, Radar
- Knowledge (intermediate to expert) in coding languages such as SAS, R and/or python
- Statistical modeling & analytics - Exposure to GLMs, loss triangles, and trend analysis.
- Understanding of IRDAI regulations, Solvency II, IFRS 17, and financial condition reporting.
Experience
- 8-10 years of experience in the actuarial domain (Qualified actuary), with at least 3 years of experience in pricing and in the Indian General insurance industry
- Experience in general insurance actuarial teams—especially in pricing, reserving, or reinsurance.
- Exposure to product development and portfolio profitability reviews.
- Prior interaction with regulators, auditors, and management reporting.
