ROLE OVERVIEW

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting, financial reporting,

compliance, project costing, and financial controls.

The role will work closely with management, auditors, consultants, vendors, customers, and internal teams to ensure accurate financial records and timely statutory compliance.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Manage day-to-day accounting and bookkeeping activities.
- Maintain accurate general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations.
- Handle sales, purchase, expense, journal, and payment entries.
- Prepare monthly financial statements, MIS, and management reports.
- Monitor receivables, payables, outstanding payments, and collections.
- Manage GST, TDS, income tax, and other statutory compliance in coordination with consultants.
- Prepare and verify GST-related data, reconciliations, and supporting documents.
- Coordinate with CA, auditors, tax consultants, and other financial professionals.
- Support project-wise costing, budgeting, profitability analysis, and financial tracking.
- Monitor project expenses, procurement costs, vendor payments, and inventory-related accounting.
- Verify invoices, purchase orders, quotations, and supporting documents before processing payments.




- Maintain proper documentation and records for audits and compliance.
- Assist management with cash-flow planning, financial analysis, and decision-support reports.
- Track financial commitments and ensure timely payments to vendors and service providers.
- Support accounting requirements related to defence projects, government tenders, manufacturing, procurement, and

institutional contracts.
- Identify discrepancies, improve accounting processes, and maintain strong internal controls.
- Handle other finance and accounting responsibilities assigned by management.

REQUIRED SKILLS
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial processes.
- Good understanding of GST, TDS, taxation, and statutory compliance.
- Solid proficiency in Tally and Zoho accounting software and MS Excel.
- Good analytical and reconciliation skills.
- Experience in preparing financial statements and MIS reports.
- Strong attention to detail and documentation.
- Ability to coordinate effectively with auditors, consultants, vendors, and management.
- Good understanding of costing, budgeting, and cash-flow management.
- Ability to handle confidential financial information responsibly.

WHO WERE LOOKING FOR
- Experience: 46 years in accounting and finance.
- Qualification: B.Com / M.Com / CA Inter or equivalent qualification preferred.
- Experience in manufacturing, defence, engineering, projects, government tenders, or technology companies will be an advantage.
- Candidates should be hands-on, analytical, responsible, and comfortable taking ownership of financial processes.
