Role Description The Senior Accountant is a full-time, hybrid role based in Kollam, with flexibility for some work-from-home activities. This role oversees day-to-day accounting operations, including managing general ledger entries, reviewing journal vouchers, and ensuring accurate and timely posting of transactions.

Responsibilities include preparing financial statements, monitoring cash flow, reconciling accounts, and supporting month-end and year-end closing activities.

The Senior

Accountant will handle statutory compliance such as GST, TDS, and other regulatory requirements, and coordinate with auditors, banks, and external partners as needed. This role also involves improving accounting processes, implementing internal controls,



supporting budgeting and forecasting, and providing financial insights to management for decision-making.

Qualifications

- Strong core accounting knowledge, including general ledger management, account reconciliation, and preparation of financial statements.
- Demonstrated experience with taxation and compliance, such as GST, TDS, corporate filings, and coordination with auditors or regulatory authorities.
- Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems, along with solid Excel skills for analysis, reporting, and data validation.
- Capability in financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting to support management reporting and business planning.
- Excellent attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and ability to meet deadlines in a rapid-paced environment.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and maintain confidentiality and ethical standards in all financial matters.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certifications such as CA, CMA, or equivalent are an advantage.
- Prior experience in a senior or lead accounting role, preferably in trading, import–export, or related industries.
