Company Description House Of EM5 is a rapid-growing startup perfume and fragrance brand founded in August 2022. In just over a year, the company has expanded more than 50x from its starting point, reflecting strong market traction and ambitious growth plans.

Key Responsibilities

- Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including recording journal entries, managing general ledgers, reconciling bank and vendor accounts, and ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, coordinate budgeting and forecasting activities, and monitor cash flow and working capital.
- Marketplace & Platform Reconciliation: Reconcile sales, commissions, logistics fees, returns, and payout settlements across online channels like Amazon, Flipkart, Myntra, Blinkit and Shopify.
- Inventory & Cost Accounting: Track stock movements, perform inventory valuation, and manage product cost sheets for Direct-to-Consumer (D2C) or retail items.
- Financial Reporting & MIS: Prepare monthly Profit & Loss (P&L;) statements, cash flow forecasts,



and management information system (MIS) reports.
- Taxation & Statutory Compliance: Handle GST returns, Input Tax Credit (ITC) verifications (like GSTR-2B), TDS deductions, and statutory audits.(Multi-State GSTs)
- Payment Gateway & Courier Reconciliation: Match collections from payment gateways (Razorpay, PayU), UPI, Cash on Delivery (COD) remittances, and bank deposits.

Essential Skills & Qualifications

- Experience: Typically 3 to 10 years of accounting experience, with hands-on focus on e-commerce or retail industries.
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Commerce/Accounting (B.Com / M.Com), or professional qualifications like CA Inter / CMA.
- Software & ERP Tools: Proficiency in Tally Prime, alongside advanced Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Power Query)
