Role Summary- Leads all MDR SOC operations: strategy, workforce planning, performance metrics, escalation handling and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities-
- Provide direction and oversight to SOC Managers and Leads
- Define and enforce SOC policies, standards and best practices
- Lead workforce planning and resource allocation
- Track SOC KPIs and service quality
- Drive continuous improvement in detection and response
- Oversee incident handling and escalation efficiency
- Partner with Engineering, Threat Intelligence and Product
- Serve as senior escalation authority for critical incidents
Qualifications-
- 13–18 years SOC or IR experience, 3+ in senior leadership
- Proven management of multi-team or multi-site SOC operations
- Bachelor's in Cybersecurity/IS or related (Master's preferred)
- Executive certification (CISSP, CISM, CCISO) strongly preferred
- Robust leadership and communication; MDR delivery and client service
