Role Description The Sales Officer role at BharatPe is a full-time, in office position based in Gorakhpur.

The Sales

Officer is responsible for acquiring and onboarding merchants, promoting BharatPe payment solutions and terminals, and driving usage of the company’s products in the assigned territory. Daily activities include meeting prospective and existing merchants, explaining product features and benefits, assisting with registration and KYC, and ensuring smooth activation and ongoing support. The role also involves coordinating with channel partners, tracking sales performance,



sharing market feedback with internal teams, and maintaining accurate records of leads, visits, and closures.

The Sales

Officer works closely with operations and customer support teams to ensure high service levels and long-term merchant engagement.

Qualifications

- Strong Customer Service skills, with the ability to build trust and maintain long-term merchant relationships.
- Proficiency in Lead Generation and prospecting to identify and convert new merchants in the Gorakhpur region.
- Effective Communication skills, including clear verbal and written interaction with merchants and internal teams.
- Experience in Sales Operations, including managing pipelines, tracking performance, and using basic sales reporting tools.
- Exposure to Channel Sales, working with distributors, partners, or agents to expand market reach.
- Knowledge of fintech, payments, banking, or related financial services is an advantage.
- Comfort with field sales, local travel, and working in dynamic, target-driven environments.
- Minimum qualification: High school diploma; a bachelor’s degree in Business, Commerce, or a related field is preferred.
- Basic digital literacy, including use of smartphones, apps, and MS Office or similar tools.
- Fluency in local language and working proficiency in English or Hindi.
