Role Overview
We are seeking a results-driven Sales Manager to spearhead business development within the cable and wire industry. Based in office in Mumbai, this role is critical to our expansion into this sector. You will be responsible for the full sales cycle—from prospecting and lead generation to high-level presentations, negotiations, and closing deals.
You will act as a consultant to cable and wire manufacturers and distributors, helping them mitigate operational and financial risks through our specialized insurance offerings.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive business development activities to expand our footprint in the cable and wire segment.
- Manage the entire sales lifecycle, including prospecting, meetings, and proposal development.
- Collaborate with internal teams to craft bespoke risk management solutions for clients.
- Provide market and competitor analysis to inform our strategic sales planning.
- Maintain an active sales pipeline and accurate records within our CRM.
- Represent the company at industry events and networking forums.
Qualifications
- Proven track record in sales or business development, ideally within the cable and wire, electrical components, or industrial goods sectors.
- Exceptional relationship management skills with the ability to build trust and understand complex client needs.
- Strong negotiation and presentation skills; ability to articulate value clearly and professionally.
- Proficiency in managing sales KPIs and CRM tools.
