– Robo Welding Programmer

Designation: Engineer/ Senior Engineer

Experience: 3-10 years

Location: Coimbatore ( Kadathur pirivu)

Industry: Fabrication & Heavy Fabrication Manufacturing Robot Brands: ABB and Yaskawa

Key Responsibilities –

1. Robot Programming: Develop, program, and optimize robotic welding programs using ABB and Yaskawa robotic systems for fabrication and heavy fabrication products.
2. Welding Process Optimization: Set up and optimize robotic welding parameters, including welding speed, voltage, current, wire feed speed, and torch angle to ensure consistent weld quality.
3. Product & Drawing Understanding: Interpret engineering drawings, welding symbols, and fabrication specifications for products such as heavy steel structures, sheet metal assemblies, equipment frames,



and welded components.
4. Troubleshooting & Cycle Time Improvement: Identify and resolve robot programming, welding, and production issues while improving cycle time, productivity, and welding accuracy.
5. Production Support & Quality: Collaborate with Production, Welding, and Quality teams to ensure proper robot setup, fixture alignment, weld consistency, and compliance with manufacturing standards.

Preferred experience: Hands-on experience in ABB and/or Yaskawa robotic welding programming, with a background in fabrication or heavy fabrication manufacturing.
