Role & responsibilities
Supervise and monitor assembly line activities across assigned shifts.
Ensure production targets are achieved within specified timelines while maintaining quality standards.
Plan and coordinate daily production schedules to optimize productivity and resource utilization.
Maintain accurate production records, reports, and production accounting data.
Manage shop-floor manpower, including work allocation, attendance monitoring, and productivity tracking.
Coordinate with Quality, Maintenance, Stores, and other departments to resolve production-related issues.
Ensure adherence to safety regulations, company policies, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Identify process improvement prospects to enhance efficiency and reduce downtime.
Monitor machine utilization and escalate operational issues to concerned HODs when required.
Train and guide operators to maintain operational excellence and quality standards.
