Sweet Industry – Account Executive Job Responsibilities.
Maintain day-to-day accounting entries in Tally/ERP/accounting software.
Prepare and verify sales invoices, purchase invoices, credit notes, debit notes, and receipts.
Record daily sales, purchases, expenses, cash, and bank transactions.
Reconcile customer accounts, supplier accounts, cash, and bank statements.
Monitor receivables and payables and follow up for outstanding payments.
Maintain customer and distributor ledgers and resolve ledger discrepancies.
Coordinate with the sales team regarding sales orders, billing, discounts, schemes, and credit notes.
Verify purchase bills and coordinate with purchase/store teams for discrepancies.
Maintain records related to stock, wastage, returns, breakage, and expiry, where applicable.
Assist in monthly closing and preparation of accounting reports.
Support the Accounts Manager in GST, TDS, and other statutory compliance.
Maintain proper documentation and filing of invoices, vouchers, bills, and financial records.
Coordinate with auditors, banks, vendors, customers, and internal departments when required.




Prepare daily/weekly/monthly reports related to sales, collection, outstanding, expenses, and stock.
Ensure accounting transactions are accurate and entered on time.
Handle confidential financial and customer information responsibly.

Eligibility:
Educational Qualification: B.Com / M.Com from a recognized university or institution.
Experience: Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience in the accounting field.
Industry Experience: Candidates with experience in the sweets, confectionery, FMCG, food, retail, or manufacturing industry will be preferred.
Accounting Knowledge: Solid understanding of day-to-day accounting, bookkeeping, invoicing, ledger management, and bank reconciliation.
