About the Role

We are looking for a Category Manager to drive category growth, revenue and profitability. The role will involve end-to-end category ownership across e-commerce, P&L;, assortment, pricing, promotions and performance.

Key Responsibilities
Own category strategy and drive revenue, growth, profitability and market share.
Manage category P&L; and track key commercial metrics.
Analyse category, consumer and competitor trends to identify growth prospects.
Manage assortment, pricing, promotions and product lifecycle.
Analyse marketplace and D2C channel performance.
Identify portfolio gaps and recommend current products, variants and innovations.
Drive product launches and category initiatives from planning to execution.
Monitor sales, margins, inventory and profitability.




Work closely with Marketing, Product, Sales, E-commerce and Supply Chain teams.
Prepare category performance reports and present insights to leadership.

Requirements
Minimum 2 years of experience in Category Management, E-commerce, FMCG, D2C, Retail or Consumer Brands.
Strong understanding of P&L;, revenue, profitability and category growth.
Experience managing a category/business with revenue ownership.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Good understanding of Excel/Google Sheets; BI tools are a plus.
Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills.
Experience in a rapid-paced, entrepreneurial environment preferred.
Women candidates preferred.
Mumbai-based candidates preferred.
