We are looking for an experienced and strategic Raw Material Purchase Manager to lead procurement activities for raw materials in our quick-paced FMCG setting. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in vendor management, negotiation, contract management, sourcing strategy, and procurement operations, with hands-on experience in SAP and MS Office tools. Exposure to agri commodities will be a significant advantage

Role & responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:
Sourcing Strategy:
Develop and implement effective sourcing strategies aligned with business objectives.
Identify and onboard alternate sources and suppliers to mitigate risks.
Vendor Management:
Build and maintain robust relationships with suppliers to ensure long-term partnerships.
Monitor supplier performance through KPIs (quality, delivery, cost, responsiveness).
Negotiation & Cost Management:
Lead commercial negotiations to optimize procurement costs.
Drive cost-saving initiatives without compromising on quality or service levels.
Contract Management:
Draft, review, and manage procurement contracts ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.




Ensure proper documentation, risk mitigation clauses, and adherence to company policies.
Market Intelligence:
Monitor market trends, commodity price fluctuations, and supply-demand dynamics
Provide insights to internal stakeholders for decision-making.
Process Compliance:
Ensure compliance with internal procurement policies and regulatory guidelines.
Maintain accurate records and documentation using SAP.
Technology & Tools:
Efficiently use SAP (MM module) for procurement processes including PR, PO, GRN, and invoicing.
Generate reports and analysis using Excel, PowerPoint, and other MS Office tools.

Preferred candidate profile
Education: Graduate/Postgraduate in Supply Chain, Procurement, Agriculture, or related fields.
Experience: Minimum 10 years in procurement/ manufacturing FMCG sector.
Skills & Competencies:
Strong negotiation and communication skills.
Proficient in SAP (MM module) and MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
Strong understanding of contract management and sourcing strategies.
