Job Summary

We are looking for a qualified and patient-focused Resident Periodontist to join our dental clinic in Bengaluru. The candidate should have strong clinical knowledge of periodontal diseases, gum treatment, and preventive oral care, along with the ability to diagnose and manage conditions affecting the gums and supporting structures of the teeth.

Key Responsibilities

- Examine patients and diagnose periodontal diseases and other gum-related conditions.
- Develop appropriate treatment plans based on clinical findings and patient needs.
- Perform scaling, root planing, and other nonsurgical periodontal treatments.
- Perform periodontal surgical procedures, where indicated and within the scope of competence.
- Manage gum infections, gingival recession, and other periodontal conditions.
- Provide periodontal maintenance, oral hygiene instructions, and preventive care.
- Perform or assist with periodontal procedures related to dental implants, where qualified.
- Use appropriate diagnostic tools and radiographs to assess periodontal health.
- Explain treatment options, procedures, and post-treatment care to patients.
- Maintain accurate patient records and follow-up details.




- Follow sterilization, infection control, and clinical safety protocols.
- Coordinate with other dental specialists to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Required Qualifications and Skills
- MDS in Periodontology from a recognized institution.
- Valid dental registration applicable for practice in Karnataka.
- Strong knowledge of periodontal diagnosis, treatment planning, and management.
- Clinical competence in nonsurgical and surgical periodontal procedures.
- Knowledge of dental implant-related periodontal procedures is desirable.
- Good communication, patient counseling, and interpersonal skills.
- Professional attitude, attention to detail, and teamwork.

Preferred Experience Prior clinical experience in periodontal treatment, periodontal surgery, and implant-related procedures is an advantage. Fresh postgraduate candidates may apply.
