We are looking for an Executive – Research (Healthcare) to support OPPI’s work across healthcare access, medicines, disease-related research and healthcare policy. The role will involve conducting research, collecting and analysing information, reviewing healthcare and pharmaceutical sector developments, and supporting the preparation of research reports, presentations and other knowledge outputs. The position will provide an opportunity to gain practical exposure to the Indian healthcare and pharmaceutical ecosystem, including areas such as access to medicines, disease burden, healthcare policies, health systems and industry-related issues.

Key Responsibilites

- Conduct research and gather relevant information from reliable sources
- Collect, organise and analyse data and information, as required
- Review and summarise reports, documents and other relevant material
- Assist in preparing research notes, presentations, reports and other documents
- Support the team in identifying key insights and trends from available information
- Maintain research databases, trackers and reference materials
- Assist in preparing charts, tables and other analytical outputs
- Support ongoing projects, initiatives and assignments undertaken by the team
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, where required
- Provide general research, analytical and project support based on organisational requirements

Qualifications and Skills

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Public Health, Healthcare Management, Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Medicine, Biotechnology, Economics or a related discipline
- 2–3 years of relevant experience in healthcare research, public health,



pharmaceutical research, policy research, market research or a similar role
- Solid research, analytical and information-synthesis skills
- Ability to independently search, evaluate and interpret information from multiple sources
- Good working knowledge of MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, along with good interpersonal and coordination skills
- Ability to present information clearly, concisely and in a structured manner, with strong attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple assignments and work within timelines
- A demonstrated interest in healthcare, public policy, medicines and/or the pharmaceutical industry

Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate would be curious, analytical and detail-oriented, with a genuine interest in understanding India's healthcare and pharmaceutical ecosystem. The candidate should be comfortable working with data and research material, have the ability to distinguish relevant information from large volumes of content, and be able to translate research findings into clear and meaningful outputs.
