Duties and Responsibilities of an Accountant

Daily Accounting Tasks
Record day-to-day financial transactions in accounting software or ledgers.
Maintain books of accounts including sales, purchase, and cash/bank books.

Invoice Processing
Prepare and issue sales invoices to clients.
Verify, process, and record purchase invoices from suppliers.

Bank and Cash Handling
Handle petty cash transactions and maintain petty cash records.
Perform bank reconciliations and track bank transactions.

GST and Tax Filing Support
Assist in preparing GST returns and ensure timely filing.
Maintain records of TDS deductions and help in filing TDS returns.

Vendor and Customer Account Management
Track receivables and follow up on outstanding payments.
Reconcile accounts with suppliers and customers.

Financial Reporting
Assist in preparing monthly and yearly financial reports.
Support auditors during internal or external audits by providing necessary documents.





Payroll Assistance
Support payroll processing by maintaining attendance and salary data.
Record salary disbursements and related entries.

Data Entry and Documentation
Ensure accurate data entry and maintain proper filing of financial documents.
Digitally organize and back up all financial records.

Compliance and Accuracy
Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
Identify and correct accounting errors or mismatches.

Coordination with Other Departments
Collaborate with the purchase, sales, and HR departments for accurate financial records.

Pay: ₹13,000.00 - ₹17,000.00 per month
