Manage day-to-day blanking line production as per production plan, quality standards and delivery targets.
Handle press/blanking machines, dies, tooling and material feeding for sheet-metal components.
Monitor line productivity, OEE, cycle time, downtime and rejection/rework and take corrective actions.
Ensure proper die setting, changeover, machine parameters and first-piece approval.
Maintain process quality and ensure compliance with control plans, work instructions, PFMEA and customer requirements.
Coordinate with Quality, Maintenance, PPC and Tool Room teams to resolve production and machine-related issues.
Drive 5S, Kaizen, Lean manufacturing and productivity improvement initiatives.
Ensure adherence to safety standards, PPE and shop-floor discipline.
Maintain production records, shift reports, rejection reports and downtime data.
Manage and guide operators/workmen to achieve shift-wise production targets.
