Business Development Associate Key Responsibilities
Identify and connect with startup founders, promoters, and CXOs to generate current business opportunities
Conduct outbound outreach through calls, LinkedIn, email, networking, and referrals
Understand founders’ business requirements and identify relevant fundraising or strategic opportunities
Build and maintain a solid pipeline of prospective clients
Schedule meetings and coordinate discussions between founders and the internal investment banking team
Develop long-term relationships with founders and key decision-makers
Follow up with prospects throughout the sales cycle and drive conversions
Maintain accurate records of leads, interactions, and opportunities in CRM
Stay updated on the startup ecosystem, fundraising trends, M&A; activity, and market developments

Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, Commerce, or a related field




1–3 years of experience in B2B Sales, Business Development, Financial Services, or Investment Banking
Strong experience in lead generation, cold calling, prospecting, and client acquisition
Ability to confidently communicate with founders, promoters, CXOs, and senior stakeholders
Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
Target-oriented, proactive, and comfortable working in a rapid-paced environment
