Customer Service (CS) – NVOCC

Key Responsibilities
Handle customer inquiries related to bookings, shipments, containers, BLs, schedules, and documentation.
Coordinate with customers, overseas agents, shipping lines, freight forwarders, and internal operations teams.
Process and confirm export/import bookings and provide booking confirmations to customers.
Monitor vessel schedules, ETD/ETA, transshipment, port cut-offs, and container movements.
Share timely updates regarding vessel delays, rollovers, schedule changes, and shipment status.
Coordinate with documentation teams for Bill of Lading (BL), Shipping Instructions (SI), invoices, and other shipping documents.
Follow up on shipping instructions, VGM, container pickup, gate-in, and cut-off requirements.
Resolve customer complaints and operational issues within agreed timelines.
Coordinate with CHA, transporters, CFS/ICD, terminals, shipping lines, and overseas agents when required.
Maintain accurate shipment records and update ERP/TMS/CRM systems.
Prepare and share daily/weekly shipment status reports.




Follow up on freight payments, detention/demurrage, documentation charges, and other customer-related charges, where applicable.
Ensure compliance with company procedures and shipping regulations.
Maintain good relationships with existing customers and support customer retention.

Required Skills
Positive knowledge of NVOCC operations and ocean freight processes.
Understanding of BL, SI, VGM, container movement, vessel schedules, and Incoterms.
Valuable communication and customer-handling skills.
Strong follow-up and coordination ability.
Good knowledge of MS Excel and email communication.
Ability to handle multiple shipments and work under time pressure.
Problem-solving and negotiation skills.
Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.

Job Type: Full time Pay: From ₹800,000.00 per year
