Strong knowledge of Mastercam and SolidWorks.
CNC milling programming and machining knowledge.
Knowledge of roughing, finishing, pocketing, profiling, drilling, tapping and boring.
Tool/cutter selection and cutting parameter knowledge.
CNC tool-path simulation and collision checking.
Knowledge of machining allowances for Grinding, EDM and Wire EDM.
Good understanding of engineering drawings, tolerances and GD&T.;
Knowledge of work holding, job setting and work zero.
Strong programming and machining skills.
Valuable drawing interpretation ability.
Problem-solving and analytical skills.
Cycle-time and cost optimization mindset.
Attention to detail and quality focus.
Good coordination with Process Planning, Design and Production teams.
Ability to guide and train CNC operators.
