Role Description The Civil Purchase Assistant Engineer is a full time, on-site role based in the Pune Division. This role supports end-to-end civil procurement activities, including preparing and processing purchase orders, coordinating with vendors and contractors, and ensuring timely delivery of construction materials and services. The position involves comparing quotations, maintaining purchase records, tracking material inventory, and assisting in cost optimization and compliance with company standards.

Engineer collaborates closely with project engineers, site teams, and the commercial department to align purchasing activities with project schedules and quality requirements. The role also includes regular follow-up with suppliers, resolving discrepancies in orders or invoices, and contributing to continuous improvement in purchasing processes.

Qualifications
Strong understanding of purchasing processes and general procurement practices in civil construction.
Ability to create, review, and manage purchase orders and related documentation.
Practical experience in purchasing and vendor coordination for construction materials and services.
Effective communication skills for working with internal teams and external suppliers.
1–2 years of experience in civil engineering procurement or related roles.
Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
Basic knowledge of construction materials, standards, and site requirements.
Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with ERP or procurement software is an advantage.
Ability to work on-site in Pune Division and support multiple projects simultaneously.
