About the Role
We are looking for a motivated field sales executive to promote and sell billing and GST software to local shops, retailers, and small businesses. The role involves visiting business owners personally, explaining the software, generating leads, following up with prospects, and converting them into customers.
Roles & Responsibilities
Visit local shops, retailers, and small businesses in the assigned territory.
Introduce and promote the company’s billing software.
Explain relevant billing, invoicing, and GST-related features of the software.
Generate leads through field visits, referrals, and local market mapping.
Demonstrate the software or coordinate product demonstrations.
Understand merchant requirements and answer basic product-related queries.
Follow up with prospects and handle sales objections professionally.
Close sales and achieve assigned sales targets.
Assist with customer/merchant onboarding where required.
Maintain accurate records of visits, leads, follow-ups, and sales.
Build professional relationships with shopkeepers and business owners.
Requirements & Skills
Comfortable with field work and regular market visits.
Positive communication and convincing skills.
Solid negotiation and follow-up skills.
Willingness to travel within the assigned territory.
Basic smartphone and digital-record handling skills.
Self-motivated and target-orientated.
Important Role Clarification This is a field-based sales position. The candidate will visit local shops/businesses and sell billing software. It is not a customer support, call centre, or desk-based customer relationship management role.
Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹31,000.00 per month
